Eagle Scout Project to Benefit Washington

Washington has been chosen to receive 4 trees from a 6th grade student in Moore who is working towards completion of his Eagle Scout Badge.  He will be planting the trees in early May, and his trees will compliment the project that PTA has planned for landscaping the new track area.  More information will follow as the project progresses and we have photos to share.

The amazing thing is that this young man is very young to be this far advanced in his Eagle Scout work, and we are very fortunate to have him select Washington as his project.  Last year Marie Hill's son Gregory Checorski completed his Eagle Scout project by building our new Lost and Found collection box.

We celebrate the work of all young scouts!
