Be There and Be Counted!  

API- Academic Performance Index is a numeric score that measures school and district performance based on a variety of educational indicators. 

ONE of these indicators is attendance.  As the winter season approaches, the sniffles start to show up.  I understand that when your child is sick there is nothing that you can do but keep them home.  Trust us, we want you to keep them at home if they have a fever or are throwing up.  Yet, there are those times when we are just tired and don't feel like coming to school.  

Please help us by sending your child to school if they are not sick. We need ALL students at school if at all possible.  With attendance being part of our indicators on the No Child Left Behind Act, you parents are the only ones that can help.
